The Hyundai Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient version of this popular crossover, featuring 30 miles of all-electric range and a combined 33 miles per gallon when battery power is depleted.
This HEV is powered by a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 66.9-kW motor that is paired with a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, combining for a total power output of 261 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
The Plug-In Hybrid powertrain is paired with a newly-developed 6-speed automatic transmission. The regenerative braking system charges your Santa Fe's battery while the powertrain switches seamlessly between gas and electric power on South Carolina highways. When Darlington drivers are behind the wheel of the Hyundai Santa Fe HEV, they get HTRAC™ All-Wheel Drive for superior control.
Charge on the road at public charging stations or at your home in Woodland Park - with a home wall box - in under four hours. You'll get a charging cable for AC charging stations and an ICCB cable for domestic power sockets.
Design
Hyundai Santa Fe HEV models come with 19-inch alloy wheels and a hands-free smart liftgate. Cargo figures are the same as normal Santa Fe models, with seating for five passengers, 36.4 cubic feet of storage, and a total cargo capacity of 72.1 cubic feet. Florence families can get additional comfort from Nappa leather seating surfaces, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and a Proximity Key with push button start.
